The identity of a shopping centre security guard crumbles in the film by Veikko Timonen and Arman Zafari

Screenwriter Veikko Timonen and director Arman Zafari are developing the film Kaikkialla (Everywhere), which examines identity, the feeling of guilt and social rules as well as asks who the rules ultimately protect. The interview is part of a series of articles presenting the creators selected for the Kehittämö programme and their projects.

Veikko Timonen and Arman Zafari are working within the Kehittämö programme on the drama film Kaikkialla, which is produced by Kaisla Viitala and Daniel Kuitunen from the Komeetta production company.

Kehittämö – Talent Development Lab is a new development programme by AVEK and the Finnish Cultural Foundation, the aim of which is to strengthen the personal voices of the most talented filmmakers of their generation and create new audiovisual works of the highest quality. Authors selected for the programme receive a €55,000 grant to develop their work, as well as personal mentoring from top international professionals in the field.

The programme is made possible by the financial support of the Finnish Cultural Foundation. Half of the funding for the programme comes from the Finnish Cultural Foundation and half from AVEK’s compensation for private copying.
