Due to the cut in the compensation for private copying, we have not yet received the funds for this year. However, we will open the call for applications for some of the grants with the help of grant funds carried over from last year and the national funds granted by the Kopiosto Board.

We are distributing support for international promotion on a limited basis due to the halving of our support funds. Only production companies are eligible to apply for support. The support guidelines below are valid until further notice.

As the pandemic has most affected filmmakers with fewer possibilities, we felt the need to show solidarity. Thus, AVEK, the Promotion Centre of Audiovisual Culture in Finland will direct 30 000€ to support documentary projects of the global south.
