Kopiosto distributes EUR 49 million in copyright remunerations to the creative industry

Kopiosto paid copyright remunerations to copyright holders both directly and through the organisations that represent them. A total of EUR 24 million was paid to the authors of television programmes and performing artists, and EUR 20.1 million was paid to the authors and publishers of books, magazines and sheet music. EUR 2.2 million in total was paid to visual artists as public lending remunerations. Additionally, AVEK, a part of Kopiosto, distributed a total of EUR 2.9 million to audiovisual culture and the creative industries.
