Public lending right scheme remunerations for visual artists and narrators
We pay public lending remunerations and remunerations for the library use of e-materials to visual artists and audiobook narrators. Paid by the Ministry of Education and Culture, these copyright remunerations are based on the number of times that books and audio recordings are borrowed from public libraries, university libraries and the national E-library.

Remunerations are paid for the most borrowed books and e-materials in public libraries, university libraries and the national E-library.
To receive remunerations, update your customer information by registering in the public lending right scheme service (in Finnish only).
If you are a visual artist, please register in the public lending right scheme service as a visual artist of your books that are entitled to remunerations.

If you are a narrator and think that you are entitled to remunerations for an e-audiobook you have narrated, please contact our customer service team. We obtain narrator information directly from libraries.
You can see a breakdown of the remunerations you have received on a payment calculation sheet that you can download from the public lending right scheme service.
Our primary payment of remunerations takes place annually in May. Additionally, we pay remunerations on a monthly basis as incomplete payment information is completed.
The remunerations payable for each year of lending are available for three years of their allocation.

Update your information and check your remunerations in the public lending right scheme service
In the public lending right scheme service, you can update your customer information and check the remunerations paid to you from your remuneration calculation sheets. In the service, you can see a list of books for which you are registered as a remuneration recipient. You can also register as the visual creator of your books in the service.
